I sat in the car and left for school. It was still dark outside. Perhaps we were called much earlier due to extra classes, I thought. I stepped out of the car and looked towards the school building in the night sky. It felt so odd looking to go to school at night. I was still unsure whether it was night or early morning. I went inside and many of my classmates were having fun. I never knew what was going on. I asked one of them, 'When will the maths class start?' She listened to me and asked the other, 'There was a maths class?'
The other replied, 'There was a class?'
It looked like nobody knew what we were doing in school at that time. A teacher entered and called us out, and we followed towards a bus. 'Is this a trip?' I thought. The sky had turned grey now. And I was relieved that it was the day now. The bus went outside of the school and into the city. It was so early in the morning, yet the populated vehicles and the traffic jam. It was quite surprising to me. The bus stopped in the middle of many vehicles. I was feeling exhausted. A moment later, whilst waiting at the traffic jam, the teacher called out to get off the bus, and we went into a beautiful hotel, confused. Unaware of what's happening, we saw many robbers entering the hotel with rifles and capturing the whole premises of the hotel. They held the hostage of everyone present in the hotel. I, with some other students, managed to hide in the most corner hallway. We went inside the last kitchen room, and after that, there was just the end. We felt some presence of someone following us. We quickly climbed up to the pole and to the vent. Bending down, forcibly, all of us quietly went and closed the vent door. We crawled quietly and were breathing heavily out of fear. We crawled and crawled, and finally, we spotted some light, we opened it and realised we made it out safe from there. We came out, and it was on the other side of the hotel. We were relieved. But, the whole place felt new to us. It was not the other side of the town. It wasn't the country we lived in.
